A V2 rocket with the internal workings shown. Another one of the interesting exhibits at this Museum.

Egyptian stuff at the museum too.

The Museum had a cool model railway exhibit.

Here is a Messerschmitt Me 262 at the Deutsches Museum. The swastika is missing of course if you look closely.

This is a pic taken on a bridge over the river to the Deutsches Museum in Munich. Another easy and pleasant walk.

This is a pic of the toy museum that we visited in Munich. Lots of cool stuff.

Martine with a small and a regular beer at a great Munich beer house Zum Durnbrau. We had fantastic food here including an apfel strudel to fall in love with and Roast Beef with Munich style sweet and sour sauce.

We saw a band perform at Marianplatz in front of the Town Hall. It seemed to have shades of the Third Reich about it.
Sendlinger Tor an old medievel gate within Munich. This and the centre of town was within easy walking distance of our accomodation.
Here is the Intercity Express that we caught to Munich. German railways are wonderful as they are in most of Europe and also very quick. The speed displayed in the car was around 200km/h most of the time.
The walking tour of Berlin went well into the night. A big day but well worth it.

We saw the Titanic in chocolate as part of the Berlin walking tour. There was also the Brandenburg gate but Martine vetoed the photo because she was in it.
